Don't miss the 2009 Northwest Flower & Garden Show!

When: February 18–22, 2009
Where: Washington State Convention Center, Seattle, Wash.

The West Coast is known for its focus on green living and sustainability, and the Northwest Flower & Garden Show is no exception.

The Seattle-based convention will offer inspirational and informative activities for all ages, with 26 full-scale display gardens and 16 container gardens.

In addition to more than 100 free seminars, the show will feature the latest innovations in green gardening tools and lawn care.

Highlighting native plants, organic vegetables and creative recycling, the show aspires to live up to its theme: “Sustainable Spaces. Beautiful Places.”

Admission: adults $20; students $9; youth (under 18) $4; children under six free.

Wednesday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
